About Us

Eighteen thousand fans packed into one building on Lafayette Street, and the energy is something you feel before you even find your seat. Prudential Center has been Newark's premier live entertainment destination since 2007, hosting everything from sold-out Bruce Springsteen shows to New Jersey Devils playoff runs, and the arena's reputation for clean facilities and a thunderous sound system keeps fans coming back year after year.

The bowl was designed with sightlines in mind. Whether you're in the lower bowl or the upper deck, you're never far from the action. Reviewers consistently call out the lighting and sound system as among the best they've experienced at any arena on the East Coast, and with a 4.5-star rating across more than 14,000 reviews, that praise isn't just noise.

Located steps from Newark Penn Station with NJ Transit, PATH, and Amtrak connections, getting here is genuinely straightforward. Parking is available on-site and in surrounding garages. The arena sits at the crossroads of a revitalized downtown Newark, surrounded by restaurants and bars that make any event night a full evening out.

What We Offer

Prudential Center hosts more than 175 events per year across sports, concerts, family shows, and special events. On the sports side, it's the home ice of the New Jersey Devils for the full NHL season, plus AHL games and college hockey matchups that fill the lower bowl with local energy.

For concerts, the arena books marquee touring acts across every genre, from rock legends to hip-hop headliners to pop superstars. The venue's production infrastructure, including its full-scale rigging system and high-output PA system, supports the technical demands of major touring productions. Family shows like Disney on Ice and Ringling Bros. events round out the calendar, making it a destination for all ages.

Group ticket packages, suite rentals, and club-level seating options are available for corporate events and private gatherings. The arena's food and beverage concourses offer a range of options from classic arena fare to locally inspired bites, with multiple bars and lounges spread across all levels.

"Amazing experience at Prudential Center! The arena is very clean, well-managed, and full of energy. The sound system and lighting during events are outstanding, and the seating arrangement gives a great view from almost every section. Staff members were helpful and the entry process was smooth. Lots of food options available inside as well. A perfect place for concerts, sports events, and live entertainment. Highly recommended!"

"Person in the front was patient with the trouble I had with my ticket. If the people could be a little bit better informed about where the sections and seats were it would have definitely saved a lot of time. Especially since where I needed to go was within about 50 feet from where I started asking for directions. David G was great with going out of his way to assist me. Overall the people who work there are very friendly and the bathrooms were well taken care of in my experience."

"I attended a Bruce Springsteen concert there in April. Parking was convenient, but it was definitely overpriced. Security lines were long, but they moved at a decent pace. The signage to find your section was a bit confusing. The food and bar area was packed with long lines to get overpriced, mediocre food. By the time we got our food, the concert had already started, and the lights were out. This made it difficult to read the seating tags defining Doris's seat.Once seated and got comfortable, the acoustics were great and the seat location was functionally decent."

"Concert was interesting....first of it's kind for me. Was a bit taken back by the amount of things the venue allowed in and depending on which gate u went thru determined what got it and what didnt. Too much movement and seat poaching....constant up and down thru the ENTIRE concert. Of course conssessions were HELLA WAAAAY OVERPRICED....$18 dollars for some fruit snacks and a Gatorade but its a show so to be expected but stil rudiculous. Center was very clean....lots of staff just not a lot of control."
